Rick and Katy Joy have held the vision of a retreat center since the 2006 Quest for Global Healing Conference in Bali. For the last eleven years they visited over 20 countries worldwide looking for the perfect location to establish the center.
"We finally chose the Big Island of Hawaii because it had virtually everything we wanted. Our location is in a country setting with lots of open space on a beautiful 25 acre property", says Katy Joy. Celestial Sanctum is situated at an elevation of 1400 feet and boasts beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, providing a peaceful environment. Since it is “off the grid”, Rick and Katy Joy generate their own solar power and water heating. Much of the produce comes from
their organic gardens and greenhouse.
